Every designer selling work through Pure Design signs up to strict terms and conditions that identify what materials the product has been made from (all materials that equal 10% or more of the product), they are asked where materials have been sourced from and their mode of transport to the designer, and what techniques and chemicals (if any) have been used in the creation of the product. The designer also provides Pure Design with a guarantee that their product meets our eco and ethical values under our Terms and Conditions of trading. Pure Design reserve the right to cease the sale of any product(s) found to be in conflict of these values immediately. If I change my mind about a product after it is delivered, can I return it for a full refund if it is made to order? If the product you have ordered has been made to order and you have decided that you simply no longer want the product, unfortunately you will not be entitled to a full refund, unless the product is faulty. Refunds are not usually offered by retailers against products that have been commissioned or made to order. Furthermore, in order for the eco-designers we work with to make a sustainable living from their art work, they need to ensure that they will be reimbursed for the time they invest in making an original piece and the materials they have bought. Designers often spend several days working on one piece. Unlike mass-produced goods, original pieces cannot be sold onto another customer easily. We’re sorry we can’t be more flexible on this, and hope that you understand this is related to the unique nature of the work we sell. If you have made a purchase and are really unhappy with it, call us and let us know why – although we can’t guarantee a refund if there is anything we can do to help we will. What if I want to order something I have seen in the shop, but with a slight variation, but am not looking to commission something over £1,500 in value – can you still accommodate my request? Give us a call. We can’t promise anything, as it is often down to the designer, and what your request is, however we will do our best to help. Is your question still not answered? If you have a general question please email us using the 'Contact Us' button in the left handside menu bar, and we will do our best to answer your question as quickly as we can. If your query is urgent you can call us on 0786 272 3885. |
